About the Role – Tyre Technician
JAX Tyres & Auto Orange are seeking an experienced hands-on Tyre Technician to join their growing team. In this role, you will identify and rectify faults found in customer tyres such as wear and punctures through fitting, rotating, balancing and general tyre repairs.

You will be working in a well-equipped and organised workshop, closely alongside your service advisor, head motor mechanic, motor mechanics and wheel aligners to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.

Your main day-to-day tasks would include.
-Carrying out tyre repairs, fitting, wheel balancing and other wheel/suspension related services
-Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear.
-Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles.
-Safely operating hoists and conducting road tests as required.

About you
-MUST have 2 or more years’ experience tyre fitting.
-Able to work in a team environment, also unsupervised.
-Excellent time-management, communication and problem-solving skills
-Be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day duties.
-Knowledge of WH/S practices.
-Automotive tyre industry experience (required)
-MUST be available to work Saturday
